Great article! I would be so sad to see Sasha go but I’m afraid it will happen. I agree completely with Hockeyx3. The Caps will be a lot less fun without him, but frankly I won’t miss all the haters blaming him for all that is wrong with the Caps. I think the KHL will throw gobs of $ at him and he may take it. He’s a hero in Russia now after his play at the World’s. But it would be great for him to play in Detroit with Datsyuk and it would be a lot easier to see him play. I don’t know what I’ll do if he stays in Russia!

If he leaves (or doesn’t come back), my joy will have been stolen. Caps will be no fun without him. He’s intriguing, which generates interest. Got me to watching. I want fun, exciting, breathless, hockey. Not hockey where if you held your breath while they dug the puck out of the corner, you would die. I frankly don’t care for myself if they ever win the cup. I care about it because they do, because it’s their pinnacle and important to them. I just want to be entertained. If it ends with them raising the cup, that’s all for them. It’s their reward, not ours.
