My coming-to-hockey experience was very different. Saw Rob Blake on TV really late in the '93-'94 season, and I thought he was just dreamy (remember: this was back in 1994). Then the Kings, of course, didn't make the playoffs, and I lost interest over that summer. I didn't start watching hockey again for realz until around 5 years ago.
