Steve Czaban being insensitive? Color me shocked. I have stopped listening to 980 because they’re allredskinsalthetime and didn’t know this. Good for Radio Danny to suspend them.

I agree that the transgender community often gets brushed aside and I doubly agree that education is vital to help cisgender people get a better understanding of what exactly they go through. I’m truly disgusted by their comments and I am glad you wrote this.

I’m glad these two got suspended. Just the fact that they referred to a human being as “it” is disgusting. I hope that Gabrielle Ludwig knows people are on her side here. I hope you know that, too.

As a ciswoman, I didn’t know exactly how hormonal therapy affects the body in terms of physical strength, so thank you for describing that in some detail. That probably makes treatment choices even more difficult for trans athletes than they are for other trans people.

I’m not shocked this happened. Radio jocks can say what they want on the air and get away with it until they’re challenged, just like all those brave keyboard warriors out there in cyberspace. Hopefully action is taken against these clowns so it never happens again.
