And thanks to Zach. Yes, it took a lot of guts, but you can see that he was able to do it because he had a lot of love and caring in his life. I think there are a lot of people in the world waiting to give congratulations and support for those who come out. I believe that the supporting group will be bigger than the ones who want to take a swipe at anyone who admits to being gay. Although I wish I would have had the good fortune to recognize and accept my sexuality when I was much younger, I am proud of who I am. I love sports, cars, and other “guy” things, and appreciate I can just be me. I have a wonderful boyfriend who puts up with my love of the Canucks, Gopher hockey, NASCAR, and nearly all other sports. Congratulations Zach. I respect and admire you. And I am very happy to hear of the acceptance of your teammates. Times have certainly changed!
