March 18: Caps Game Night – Are you Nellie Enough?
Doug Schantz and Matt Gillette of Nellie’s Sports Bar have been early boosters of the site. Matt was good enough to help us come up with a first line of Caps Cocktails a few weeks ago and he also took our Doug along on a visit to DC101 and Elliot in the Morning.
On Friday, Nellie’s (9th & U St., NW) is letting us set up shop for an informal watch party as the Caps take on the Devils. At 7pm, stop by to root, root, root for the home team; sample a tasty cocktail concoction and grab a bite from Nellie’s kick-ass menu.
Suggested attire: Your fave hockey jersey. Bonus credit for Caps gear.
